| Douglas Niedt is a recording and concert artist with over 40 years of concert and teaching experience. He Doug enjoys working with students of ALL ages and levels. Classical guitar only. Students five years and older, and from beginner to concert artist level are welcome. All are treated with the same attention, care, and commitment. CONTACT Doug by phone or email if you have questions or want to reserve a lesson time. • If you live in the Kansas City area, you can take weekly private lessons with Doug. The cost is $18/half hour or $33/hour. No contracts, just pay by the lesson. • If you live in the Kansas City area and want an occasional lesson, or are coming to visit Kansas City and want to take a few lessons, the rate is $50/hour. • Doug also has his SUMMER GUITAR STUDY program (which is primarily for people who live outside of the Kansas City area), but out-of-towners are welcome to study with Doug at any time of the year, subject to his availability. Rate is $50/hour. • Doug is chairman of the guitar program and teaches degree-seeking students at the Conservatory of Music and Dance, University of Missouri--Kansas City.
